Charles and Ray Eames are the masters of modern Furniture design in The United States and one of the most influential designers of the 20th century, with excellence in furniture, architecture, video and graphic design. After world War II, the slogan "Design is for Living" became popular in the Design circle, and designers began to seek new Design directions and concepts. The Eameses were at the forefront of this movement. They knew exactly how to make their work more convenient, and their designs were always clear about concise structure and quality. They reinterpreted simplicity and convenience, and were willing to mass-produce their work to make good designs available to ordinary people. And in contemporary, the design concept of Eames is still affecting a lot of modernist designers!
